Congressional Hearing on Child Abduction – Japan is predominant issue

American Government seems to finally be getting serious about getting our kids back from Japan -

Yesterday, July 28th, there was a Congressional Hearing on “Improving Implementation of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction” — Japan was the predominate topic of discussion.

Congressional members stated that the US is rapidly losing patentice with Japanese Government’s policy of condoning Child Abuse, Abduction and Humans Rights Violations.

Rep. Chris Smith (NJ), says that he feels that we are rapidly approaching the point of starting to actively penalize Japan.
